Vintage Pima Native American Indian Patterned Basket Woven Basketry Vessel Bowl

This bowl-shaped container stands approximately 3 5/8 inches tall and it is about 8 1/2 inches long and 8 1/4 inches wide (it is not perfectly round). It weighs 4.3 ounces, unpacked. This woven basket has darker and lighter brown patterns. This piece will make a great addition to a collection of Native American basketry or artifacts. Identification This Pima basket was acquired in northern California. The exact age of this piece is not known, but it is vintage or antique. Condition The basket displays well overall, as shown. There is a split in the bottom, as shown in Photo 6. There are some scattered, missing stitches. There are some small breaks and losses (please see examples in photos).The basket is not perfectly round/symmetrical. The basket has some dust in the crevices, but there are no foul odors. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
