PLEASE PAY WITHIN 48 HOURS OR YOUR ITEM WILL BE RE-LISTED. This is a wonderful, very old Navajo American Indian Turquoise nugget, Heishi and Sterling Silver necklace. It is very well made. Judging by the beads in the necklace it was probably made in the early 1950s. The necklace is 17 inches long. The silver beads are hand made engraved/stamped pearls and melons. The largest nugget is 1 1/4 inches long and 5/8 inch wide. The turquoise is a pleasant light blue and dark blue color with brown matrix. The nuggests probably came from the Kingman Mine. The heishi shows some aging typical of a piece this old. I have not polished this piece. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information. It comes from a smoke free environment.
