Vintage Old Pawn 26 LONG Sterling Silver NAVAJO BENCH & MELON BEAD Necklace

This beautiful vintage necklace of sterling bench made melon and round beads is securely strung on foxtail wire, with a simple, original hook and eye clasp. The necklace is neither signed nor marked as to purity, suggesting a pawn background.

It is probably Navajo in origin. The silver appears to be sterling, but it at least 800 silver, with a fabulous patina. It is just under 27 inches long, and weighs 31 grams.
