Item Overview: Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage Southwestern Native American bolo tie handcrafted by renowned Navajo silversmith Beatrice Kee. Design & Materials: The centerpiece features an oval sterling silver slide decorated with traditional hand-stamped geometric tooling around the border.
The center is set with a striking, hand-cut multi-stone mosaic channel inlay. The geometric inlay includes vibrant deep purple spiny oyster shell, black onyx, bright red coral, and a sliver of light blue turquoise at the base. Markings & Authenticity: The reverse side of the medallion is clearly stamped with the artisan's signature "BK" hallmark and a "STERLING" purity mark. 2 inches (5.1 cm) Medallion Width: Approx. 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) Condition: The sterling silver slide and stone inlay are in excellent vintage condition. The silver retains a beautiful, natural aged patina (left unpolished for collector preference). The tension-style clasp is unbranded and functions perfectly, securely holding the braided black leather cord. The leather cord is intact with normal signs of light vintage wear.
