VINTAGE NAVAJO NATIVE AMERICAN STERLING SILVER & PETRIFIED WOOD AGATE RING sz6
On offer is an authentic, vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver ring adorned with a fine hand cut and polished southwest desert natural petrified agatized wood long marquise shaped cabochon stone. The ring is made up of a triple split band with a fancy plaque.
This classic Navajo ring is approx. This ring is not hallmarked which was quite common in earlier Native American jewelry prior to the 1970's. We believe this fine piece was created circa 1950 or perhaps earlier. This ring was skillfully crafted in the traditional old NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition, any white marks or spots are lighting reflections and not flaws (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The beautiful, subtle desert hue petrified wood stone is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.The color is mostly pale to charcoal gray with orange accents. The gem quality stone is firmly and securely set in a smooth silver bezel. 1 1/8" long x 3/8" wide. The ring plaque is approx 1 1/2" long x 11/16" wide.
The triple split band is approx. 1/2" tapering to 3/16" wide. The ring weighs 7.7 grams. This traditional, well crafted vintage NAVAJO.
