Vintage Native American Style Sterling Silver Cuff w/ Lemon Chrysoprase Maybe? I have no idea what the stone is. From my research, it looks like it is possibly Lemon Chrysoprase- Maybe?
To me, the bracelet looks handmade. There are no markings on it.
I did use the 18K acid to test for silver and it was positive. Please check out all of the images as they are a major part of the description. To me, this item is in great preowned/vintage condition, meaning lovingly worn, well taken care of and wear consistent with age. For weight, size, diamond testing and metal purity, I rely on the results of my Fusion scale, Diamond Selector II, Presidium 2 Gem Tester, Husky Caliper, Strong Magnet, Puri Test Acid tests and KEE electronic tester.
Silver testing is done using the 18K acid test method. On occasion, some items marked gold & silver may have a light magnetic draw around areas where other metal may be used to make the jewelry such as a clasp, underlying chains/ wire metals, soldered areas, etc. Any jewelry marked silver or gold with a strong magnetic draw are thrown into my junk jewelry craft lots, even if they have a maker mark, as I do not bother acid testing them at all. Prior to wearing, please get the item checked out, serviced or repaired by a professional as I can not be held responsible for how any item, clasp, stones, gems, chain, string, findings, etc. I have no idea if jewelry was repaired or altered from its original condition unless it is obvious to me, and if so, I will mention it. That is why we love it so much.Most of the time, I try not to disturb any vintage/preowned jewelry by cleaning and/or polishing it in order to keep it in its original patina leaving it to your discretion. I do not want to take a chance ruining something. Depending on your own taste, you can either clean or polish it or keep it in its original state.
In most cases, I do not know the history of the jewelry nor where it has traveled or been stored. Most importantly, I have no idea if it has been around pets, smoke, air fresheners or any sort of allergen or if it smells.
