Vintage Native American Navajo sterling silver belt buckle. The piece is a signed Gilbert Ortega piece. Gilbert Ortega was the owner of several Native American stores across New Mexico and Arizona and he employed both Navajo and Zuni Indians to make his designs. This belt buckle features chip inlay of red coral and blue turquoise set in thick sterling silver.
The belt buckle measures approx. It will fit on a belt up to 1 1/2 wide. There is no purity mark, however it has been tested positive for sterling silver.
