HUGE Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Ring HEAVY THICK & SOLID 27 Grams
This listing is for a vintage ring handcrafted from Sterling Silver and Morenci? NOTE: Please view all 23 photos. Last 4 photos show ring on a medium sized hand. This vintage Navajo ring features a large ring face adorned with 4 bulging stones of what appears to be Morenci Turquoise.
The stones are tightly bezeled over a thick bed of sterling silver while accompanied by small droplets and larger droplets adorned with starburst stamps. The stones portray incredible color hues of vibrant Caribbean blue-green with pyrite matrixes while doming out of their bezels.
The sides of the ring graduate down, having a sleek polished finish, and meet creating a wide single shank. The Artist's signature is stamped on the back of the face but, we haven't been able to identify the mark. There is no sterling mark which is common in older Navajo pieces. The silver has been tested and we guarantee its purity of. This vintage statement ring will make a great addition to any collection of Native American jewelry. Wear it with pride and enjoy before handing it down in the future. Weight - 26.5 Grams. Size - The band is wide so the bottom of the band sits at a size 9.5 on a ring mandrel and the top sits around 9.25. Face Measurements - The ring face measures just a hair over 1-3/8" long by 1-1/16" wide.At its highest point, the ring sits on top of the finger at 3/8 high. Stone Measurements - The stones range from 1/2" long to just over 3/8" long.
Shank Measurements - At bottom center the shank measures just over 1/4 wide. Signed By Artist - YES, stamped with a picto hallmark or initials by an unidentified Navajo Artist. Stamped Sterling - NO, tested and verified. Condition - Preowned, in excellent vintage condition, with original stones and a slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display.
