This is an original vintage (1930's) art deco style chalkware radio or table lamp with Native American Indian chief on the front and tin lighting compartment on the back. It is in very good condition; nothing is broken, cracked, or repaired, but there are some small chips along the edges and some flakes in the paint, visible in the photos. Inside the back compartment is a metal piece with a metallic flame shape in the middle which the light from the bulb reflects toward the front of the lamp. There probably once was a glass piece attached to the top of the lamp where the "fire" would show through. There is a small metal bracket inside the back compartment that would hold a piece of glass.
It could be used as-is, or a piece of glass could be added. There is a newer lamp cord on the lamp and it is currently in working condition, but the switch and the switch wires look original and might need to be replaced for safety.
Inside the lamp is an old amber flame-shaped bulb that is working. The lamp measures 7 1/2" across the front x 11" H x 6 5/8 deep.
