Vintage Zuni Sterling Silver Needle Point Turquoise Hoop Earrings MINT
This listing is for an amazing pair of later-mid century handcrafted Zuni earrings, made of sterling silver and turquoise. This is a very fine example of expertly handcrafted Zuni jewelry. These earrings are in wonderful vintage condition with a naturally aged patina. They feature green too blue green stones set in sawtooth bezels wrapping around a silver hoop. Silver droplets accompany the stones all the way around the hoops on each side.
All of the 48 stones used to create these earrings are original to when they were made and in excellent condition. The posts are also in perfect shape being straight as an arrow. Silver backs will also come with this pair of earrings.However, Im not 100% positive the backs are original. They have a natural matching patina so they could be. Truly a great vintage find that all avid collectors yearn for! The size of the hoops are greatnot overly large, yet not super smallthey have the same outer circumference of a US Quarter. Weighing in at just 3 grams each, they wont be weighing you down or stretching your ear lobes either.
This pair of earrings will make a great addition to any fine Native American jewelry collection. They are vintage but have a modern boho chic look and could be worn daily. Cherish and enjoy them for now..... And hand them down to a loved one in the future. Weight - 3 grams each (including backs), totaling 6 grams together. Earring measurements - Hoops have an outer radius of 1 (the size of a US Quarter), The width of the hoop is 3/16 (5mm). Stones measur e - 1/8 inch long by 1 millimeter wide (very tiny). Signed by Artist - NO.Stamped Sterling - NO, tested and verified. Mid Century, Late 1960s +. Condition - Preowned, in excellent vintage condition, with original stones and naturally aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own. Extra bubble wrap and packing materials are used to ensure a safe arrival to its new owner.
