14 long (2x) hanging from my finger and weighs 5.8 oz. It came from an estate safe deposit box, per the previous owner, and he indicated it was from approximately 1940. He stated he found a mark but that it had been very difficult to locate. I believe he said it was a "V".
Since I no longer have the appraisal it is a guess on my part as to what the mark actually is. Nothing else has been done to it. There are no cracks on the Turquoise anywhere.
There are 2 silver settings that have small chips in the silver edge. One stone had to be reset, but it has no cracks. Based on the book "American Turquoise Identification Guide" my belief is that the Turquoise came from the area of Arizona that has the Kingman mine.
