Large Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cluster Belt Buckle OLD
This listing is for a very old Native American Nava j o handmade belt buckle. It is made of heavy solid sterling silver and natural turquoise stones. This piece is in excellent condition for its age. All 19 original stones are in MINT condition with no cracks or inclusions. Each stone has just the right amount of matrixes to match up perfectly with its neighboring stone.
The colors are vivid shades of blues and greens. The front outer edge of the buckle is raised and has classic Nava j o hand stampings. The stones sit raised on the front of the buckle in straight edged bezels over dark oxidized silver. The swivel belt keeper on the back of the buckle is also all original and in MINT condition.
A fantastic find for men and women. Not too big or gaudy, yet not so small it wont be seen.
This piece is one to cherish and hand down to loved ones. Width (East to West) - 3-1/2. Height (North to South) - 2-5/8. Belt keeper inside width - 1-1/2. Total number of stones - 19.
Center stone measures - 13/16 Long by 1/2 Wide. Stamped sterling - NO, tested and verified. Signed by Artist - YES, initials- AT.
