HUGE NASA Vintage David Freeland Outer Space Sterling Pendant Opal Turquoise

Breathtaking'Celestial Bodies' Signed Piece by David Freeland. This is one that will turn heads! It's huge: just under 2.3/4" long including it's massive bail by 1 1/4" wide by 1/4 deep/thick. This is a scene of mystical, magical and scientific outer space with planets including earth (in turquoise with ore/copper continents), Saturn in opal with a red ring, a cresent moon in pearl, sugilte, black opal.. A shooting star and many dimentions of depth behind!

An amazing piece done by hand by a master craftsman using a technique called, Micro- inlay. The heavey, sounthwestern frame is textured and inset with ever more beautiful turquoise. It's a marvelous piece that will set your imagination soaring! Awe-inspiring work done here in the states... We've seen copies of this but this is the original and boy can you ever tell!

It is so well made, it feels like a silver dollar (or two) in your hand. It is new with tags but very old. This is from many decades ago so the value has gone up since then.
